CORDYCEPS

The Cordyceps Mushroom

Cordyceps (Cs-4) has been described as a medicine in old Chinese medical books and Tibetan medicine and because of its rarity; it was traditionally restricted to few who could afford it. Traditional healers and local people of North Sikkim recommend the mushroom for all diseases either as a single drug or combined with other herbs. The local folk and traditional healers claim that it improves energy, stamina, libido, endurance and sleeping patterns.
Cordyceps-based products have been used to enhance athletic performance and endurance by increasing the efficiency of energy metabolism. They may also provide valuable support for those with impaired lung functions.
